I never knew writing could be so nerve wracking, if I'm not worrying about writers' block, then I'm worrying about rewrites and edits! This week my tension took on another dimension, as I waited for the cover design for my latest novel Sometimes It Happens...
Cathy from Avalon Graphics sent several mock ups, but it was the first one that took my breath away. It said so much about the tone of Sometimes It Happens... that I instantly fell in love with it.
I love writing and seeing everything start to come together is so rewarding. Now as I look at my latest book cover, I want to touch that beautiful sky, relax on the recliners, and hold one of those large glasses of champagne - I'm already there! What about you? Do you love it? Hate it? or does it not grip you at all?
Sometimes It Happens... is scheduled for release next month.

Pauline, that is absolutely gorgeous. That beautiful blue sky and the glass of champagne makes me long to get outside in the sunshine and settle down with a good book. (Well, and a glass of something chilled, obviously.)
I love it. Very eye-catching. Congratulations!

Ooh, how exciting! I like it a lot. It's quite different from book covers 1 & 2. Is that intentional?
Hi Cara, lovely to see you here. I'm glad you like it. And yes to your question, it was intentional to do a very different style of cover. Sometimes It Happens... is a very different story to books 1 & 2, I promise you it will make you laugh out load a lot....even I did and I wrote it....giggle! x
