Speeches and Awards

A special thank you to Debs Carr who kindly awarded me this lovely 'Stylish blogger Award'. When I started Blogging less than a year ago, I had no idea how many wonderful people I would meet or that such awards existed.

Now I must tell you seven things about me...mmm!

1. I hate the cold, in fact if my hands get too cold, my circulation stops and I can not use them....no good for writing!

2. I have trouble buying shoes because I take a size 3 (36).

3. My hair colour is natural, despite regularly being asked where I have it highlighted and coloured!

4. I hate butter beans.

5. I love toffee.

6. I have a bread machine and love the smell of the bread baking.

7. I'd rather get up very early than go to bed very late!

Now having shared a few of my little quirks, I award the Stylish blogger Award to these lovely people who have wonderful Blogs:

Mel at High Heels and Book Deals
Suzy Turner
Sarah Duncan
Liz Fichera
Lucie Wheeler

Congratulations to a truly stylish blogger ;-)

I love reading these '7 things'. I too have trouble with the fingers. In the winter I often have one finger turn completely white - very strange sensation (It's a good job you don't get our sort of weather where you are!!)

But there the similarity ends. Sadly my feet are considerably larger and as for bread machines, ours produced wizened bread with very little aroma. We threw it in the dustbin. Wonder where we were going wrong.

Oooooh Pauline you are just too kind!! Thank you so much!!
Size 3 feet, eh? You're lucky... I am average size 6 (which means all the best shoes are always gone early in the sales!!)
And I am an average clothes size 12 (ditto above)
Also, while I'm at it, I'm average height too (5ft 4!!!)
Love

Nice blog Pauline. I have trouble with fingers and cold too, as you probably may have guessed. And have trouble with shoes I'm a 4½ EEE. Daren't have a breadmachine as shouldn't eat bread but can handle cheesecake well.
Love Kit

Hello Ros, as always thank you for your support. As for the ciculation I could not use my hands and hardly walk when we lived in Holland when it was cold. Shopping was an embarrassment as I had to hand over my purse, poor hands could not open it...now you see why I love this sunshine. Hugs xx

I love your seven things. My grandmother had the same size feet as you. I only like butter beans in a bean salad (my sister's speciality and heavenly), but I adore toffee.

Thanks for giving me this lovely award, Pauline, you are too kind! Loved reading about your 7 things. I too, love toffee. Could eat it all day every day - if only it didn't give me tooth ache! x

I tried to comment on this when Blogger was having one of its tantrums. Sigh.

Anyway, congrats on the award and lovely to learn more about you. Size 3 shoes? Mine would look like boats beside yours. :)

The only nice things I can say about my feet are Paris Hilton made my size famous and thanks to more guys now wearing girl shoes I can easily buy shoes in my size instead of placing special orders.
I love toffee too and congratulations on your award.

Hello Shirley, it is no fun having small feet, I end up wearing children's shoes...laugh, but true! x

Hi Joanna, thanks for stopping by, why is buying shoes so difficult for so many...scary! Hugs x
