Oh, Pauline, you so don't deserve all that. Cyber hugs!

Speechless.

But it will be sorted soon. It will. It really will. Keep smiling!

And apart from the, um, obvious, it looks gorgeous. :)

Oh my!! That's it. Get on a plane and come over here. I believe we discussed drinks on the lake? :)

Pauline
We have a lot in common. My kitchen was removed Monday and has progressed only from bomb-site to minefield! Not that I'm big on cooking but disruption does something nasty to my karma, even if the fitter is starting to feel like a member of the family. I am with you in spirit. May we have happy endings and soon!

Nooooo!

If I show you my ceilings/kitchen/bathroom will that help?!

Hi Chris, for sure, we now have to dig up the kichen and later the bathroom and cloakroom.... faint! Hope you get sorted soon. xx

Poor you! What a mess. And there's still more digging up to be done?

Are the two trees in the last picture one or both of the offending ones whose roots got into the pipes? If so, I think I'd be yanking them out of there.

In the meantime hop on the plane and head off to see Maureen and have drinks on the lake with her.

Hopefully, the state of destruction won't last much longer and things will get back to how they used to be... or how you want them to be.

Heartbreaking to see all that lovely perfection ripped to shreds. Have been through a few house renovations, but that was tearing down the ugly and unloved, to make new and beautiful. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling right now - but so many people are sending you positive thoughts, so stray strong. It will be beautiful again! Linn x

Hello Melanie, yes those two trees were very much the naughty boys, so they are chopped down and we have just the trunks to remove.

Hi Linn, thank you, I am positive, we have to put it all back together and we will.

Thank you everyone for stopping by and for your lovely positive wishes....I'm smiling again! xx
